2024 Main Season CSA Share/Farm Membership Opportunity

What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) provides a household with a weekly share of vegetables through a membership in our farm.  Your family gets to eat fresh local fruits & veggies while being a part of our Farm Family/Community. Farming takes a lot of time & planning. By purchasing a share/membership before the season starts you help provide the capital for the farm to purchase seeds, supplies, make farm improvements, & pay labor costs so we have a bounteous crop for the Farm Family to share. We strive to grow an abundant harvest for all members to benefit from but ultimately mother nature is in charge & if a crop fails, we all share the loss.

What is the season & share details?

This year our main season CSA is 16 weeks long starting the second Thursday in June & continuing through the last Thursday in September. A share will include 6 or more varieties of herbs, vegetables, & fruits on any given week. Due to the nature of farming and the local climate, variety and quantity may vary. We grow much of the produce provided but will supplement from other trusted farmers to support more local farmers & to provide you with the best quality & quantity possible. A share generally provides weekly produce for a household of 3-5 & is $575.00. Signup before February 15thand get early bird pricing of 16% off or $480.00 per share. If a share is too big for you, please find a friend to split it with! Share pick-up is at the farm in Rigby on Thursdays from 5-6 pm or for a $25 per share delivery fee to the farmers market in Driggs on Fridays from 9-1.  For more details about what is in a share feel free to check our Facebook posts from 2022. We have limited shares available so reserve yours today!

What are your responsibilities?

Your responsibility is to pick up your share at the predetermined day and time or arrange for someone to pick it up for you. If the share is not picked up at the allotted time it is forfeited for that week & we will donate it to someone we feel inspired to!

Why the Homestead Institute?

We can’t wait to share the harvest.

Some of the best advice I’ve ever received: pay attention to what food you eat, as it becomes you.
